National Scholarship Program („Deutschlandstipendium“)
Based on the Scholarship Program Law (StipG), the federal government introduced the Deutschlandstipendium – a nation-wide scholarship program that integrates private/corporate donors into financial aid programs at German universities. The federal government will financially support scholars with EUR 150 per month and per scholar if the university manages to raise the same amount from private/corporate donors. Each scholar can thus be awarded with a scholarship of EUR 300 per month for the duration of one year. Applications for scholarship extension are possible. For more details on the scholarship conditions and selection procedure, please refer to the HfMT National Scholarship Program Statute (“Satzung der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg für die Vergabe von Deutschlandstipendien” – in German).
