MUSICAL SALON

Enjoy musical performances by award-winning students and graduates of our university. The Duo Tovesco will play the Schubert Sonata, you will hear song performances and arias such as Bizet's Carmen. The varied musical evening will take the audience back to the late 1920s, when the Jewish couple Emma and Henry Budge held a salon in the Budge-Palais, now the home of the University of Music and Drama. Historian Volker Hütte provides an entertaining insight into the fascinating history of the building.

The Duo Toveso consists of Veronika Rädler, violin, and Francesco Maccarrone, piano.
Julia Seckler, piano, will perform the songs together with Maria Tilibtsev and Volodymyr Milushkin, vocals.
