Workshop

Adachi introduces the concepts and techniques behind his self-made instruments and electronic interface. Based on the idea that a musical instrument is an interface between music and the human body, and that the interface itself contains music in potential, participants will explore and reconsider the relationships among bodies, instruments, and music.
Please bring your own instrument—conventional, self-made, acoustic, electronic, or anything else. If your instrument requires amplification, please bring your own amplifier as well. You do not need to have any particular technical skill with your instrument.
