Geboren 1975 in Graz. Von 1993 - 1995 Germanistik-Studium in Graz, von 1996 - 2000 Regiestudium am Mozarteum Salzburg . Von 2000 bis 2003 Regie-Assistentin am Thalia Theater Hamburg u.a. bei Andreas Kriegenburg, Armin Petras und Dimiter Gottscheff. Im Januar 2003 erste Inszenierung am Thalia in der Gauss-Strasse (?norway.today? von Igor Baursima).

Seit 2003 freie Regisseurin: Arbeiten unter anderem am Theater Osnabrück, Staatstheater Oldenburg, Ohnsorg-Theater Hamburg und am Deutschen Theater Berlin.

Neben ihrer Arbeit als Regisseurin ist Andrea Udl als Dozentin für Regie an der Theaterakademie Hamburg und am Mozarteum Salzburg sowie als Trainerin für Kommunikation und Persönlichkeitsentwicklung tätig.

Andrea Udl was born in 1975 in Graz (Austria) where she studied German literature (1993 ? 1995), followed by studies in theatre directing at the Mozarteum Salzburg (1996 ? 2000). From 2000 to 2003 she worked as an assistant-director at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, with Andreas Kriegenburg, Armin Petras, Dimiter Gottscheff and Michael Thalheimer. In January 2003, she directed her first performance at the Thalia in the Gauss-Strasse ( "norway.today" by Igor Baursima). Since 2003, Andrea Udl has been working as a freelance director at different theatres such as ?Theater Osnabrück?, ?Staatstheater Oldenburg?, ?Ohnsorg Theater Hamburg? and at the ?DT" in Berlin. In addition to her work as a director she gives classes in theater directing at the Theaterakademie Hamburg and at the Mozarteum Salzburg and works as a coach for communications
