This course will focus on creating generative music for “healing environments”. The students will use DJster, a probabilistic music event generator, in a self-contained immersive environment consisting of a network of speakers. The course also focuses on how to build the speakers with embedded computers and use web socket connection to control their behavior.
Successful course results will be included in the repertoire of compositions to be used at the university clinic (UKE) as part of the Healing Soundscapes project of the ligeti center.- Literatur
