Beschreibung

Welches Mikrophon wählen? Wie arbeite ich mit ClickTrack? Welche Effektgeräte für Stimme gibt es? Kennenlernen und Ausprobieren eines breiten Spektrums an zeitgenössischer Vokalmusik mit Fokus auf die Arbeit mit Elektronik als Verstärkung des Stimmklangs, Veränderung/Verzerrung des Stimmklangs, Elektronik als Kammermusikpartner etc. Der Kurs möchte auf die Begegnung mit Neuer Musik und Elektronik im sängerischen Beruf vorbereiten. Der Kurs „Stimme in der Neuen Musik. Basic“ bietet sich als Ergänzung an, ist aber keine Voraussetzung.

- Neue Musik und Neue Medien (Arbeit mit Zuspielungen, Mikrofonen und Mikrofontechnik, Effektgeräten (z.B. Vocoder, TC-Helicon), Live-Elektronik, Bewegungssensoren, Click-Track, Video-Score, Audio-Score)

- Klangarbeit am Mikrophon

-Wie baue ich eine PA auf? Was ist ein Interface? Eigene Aufnahmen aufnehmen, schneiden, im Konzert nutzen.

- Repertoirekunde. Von Luigi Nono’s „Fabbrica Illuminata“ (1964) bis „Your fox’s, a dirty gold“ (2011) von Alexander Schubert https://youtu.be/CPU8j2zIH_s?si=xDLUuSItcFmFSdg- )

- Herangehensweise an komplexe Partituren (neue Notationszeichen, grafische Aspekte in Partituren, Mikrointervallik, komplexe Rhythmik)

- Stimmpräparationen und -Resonatoren

- ggf. Zusammenarbeit mit Studierenden der Kompositionsklassen: Kommunikation über (die eigene) Stimme / Arbeit mit Komponierenden

Which microphone should I choose? How do I work with a click track? What vocal effects devices are available?
An introduction to and hands-on exploration of a broad spectrum of contemporary vocal music, focusing on working with electronics — as amplification of the voice, alteration/distortion of the vocal sound, electronics as a chamber music partner, etc.
This course is designed to prepare singers for working with new music and electronics in their professional careers.
The course "Voice in New Music. Basic" is a recommended complement but not a prerequisite.

- New Music and New Media (working with audio playback, microphones and microphone technique, effects devices such as vocoders, live electronics, motion sensors, click track, video scores, audio scores)

- Sound work with the microphone

- How do I set up a PA system? What is an interface? Recording your own voice, editing, and using it in concert settings.

- Approach to complex scores (new notation symbols, graphic elements in scores, microtonality, complex rhythms)
