For almost a year and a half, the Career Center of the Hamburg University of Music and Drama has been organizing the innovative concert series "Interactive Concerts against Isolation" in cooperation with the Hospital zum Heilen Geist to enable people to participate in music, culture and an appreciative exchange even in these times. For students and seniors alike, it is often a moving exchange that arises in video conversations after the streamed concerts.

So far, the Career Center has been able to reach well over 30,000 people via the livestream with over 40 concerts. Around 60 musicians have performed at the interactive concerts so far. The concerts can be streamed on the HfMT's YouTube channel every second Sunday until the winter.

At the garden party, the Federal President and his wife Elke Büdenbender thanked millions of other committed people in Germany. The invited guests came from various professional and social backgrounds. They included nurses, doctors, educators, researchers, teachers, trainees, students, hairdressers, midwives, refuse collectors, morticians and retailers. They are the ones who hold our society together through their commitment, their wealth of ideas and their energy in these challenging times and make our everyday lives possible.

After the Federal President's welcoming address, the guests were treated to dishes prepared by the chef of Schloss Bellevue as well as a program of music and entertainment, including the Neue Philharmonie, Joy Denalane and the Bundeswehr Big Band. During the meal, the Federal President and Elke Büdenbender engaged in conversation with their guests.

The thank-you party took place under the current hygiene regulations and in accordance with a strict hygiene concept. All guests were also vaccinated, recovered or tested negative.

The "Interactive Concerts" against social isolation were developed by the Career Center of the HfMT Hamburg and take place in cooperation with the Hospital zum Heiligen Geist. A project within the framework of Concert LAB / Stage_2.0:Alsterphilharmonie. The stage as a place of artistic knowledge transfer and social participation - funded by the "Innovative University" program, a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Joint Science Conference._
