The module is aimed at students of pedagogical degree programs and is also open to interested students from all degree programs.
Interpersonal processes and music therapy approaches
Students gain detailed knowledge of basic interpersonal processes, enabling them to interact more competently and satisfactorily with pupils, colleagues and parents. The module for music teachers offers a wide range of methodological suggestions from music therapy. The course content is tailored to the teaching profession, which requires a high degree of emotional flexibility, resilience and resilience as well as skills in dealing with emotions, crisis management and group dynamic processes. Working in inclusive educational fields requires a higher level of counseling skills in relation to educational and therapeutic services.
Each seminar can be selected individually (see pdf "Subject canon")
Psychological and developmental psychological processes are taught through musical improvisational processes as experiential learning content so that prospective music teachers learn to design music lessons as a space for personality development, play development and resource activation for students. The module offers a variety of methodological suggestions from music therapy that can be incorporated into music education work.
The course content is highly relevant in preparing for a professional identity as a teacher with the psycho-emotional flexibility and resilience inherently required in this professional field and the ability to manage crises. Working in inclusive pedagogical fields also requires a higher level of counseling skills in relation to pedagogical and therapeutic services, to which the module also aims to contribute. With knowledge of relationship dynamics in individual and group situations, it is easier to understand the connections between emotionally stressful interactions in the classroom and to develop suitable support services.
Each seminar can be selected individually:
