Internationalization

Given the cultural and national diversity of the HfMT's students, teachers and staff, an international orientation in teaching and research is essential for an artistic and academic university. Multicultural contacts are established both in a lively atmosphere in everyday university life in Hamburg and through personal and virtual stays abroad. The exchange in a network of partner universities in Europe and the world complements and deepens intercultural competence. Internationalization, which is closely linked to diversity management, contributes to the personal development of people at the university and creates connections that stimulate the transfer of knowledge in many different directions.
