A. Data processing

1. provision of the website and creation of log files

Data and information are collected each time this website is accessed and used. This data and information is stored in server log files. The following can be recorded

a. Purpose of the data processing

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable the website to be delivered to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.

The data is stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the website, to optimize the content of the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

This data is also analyzed for statistical purposes and to improve the website.

No other processing or transfer to third parties takes place.

b. Deletion of the data

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.

In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

If the data is stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymized so that it is no longer possible to identify the accessing client.

2 Use of cookies

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.

5. e-mail contact

It is possible to contact us via the e-mail addresses provided. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored. The data will not be passed on to third parties.

B. Web analysis

The HfMT Hamburg website uses Matomo, an open source software for analyzing and statistically evaluating visitor access.

Matomo uses so-called "cookies", small text files which are stored on your computer and which enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is stored on a server of the HfMT Hamburg in Germany. The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before it is stored.

C. Disclosure of data to third parties

OpenStreetMap

We use map material from OpenStreetMap on individual subpages via an API, a map service of the OpenStreetMap Foundation.

By using OpenStreetMap, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) can be transmitted to a server of the OpenStreetMap Foundation and stored there. The OpenStreetMap Foundation may transfer the information obtained through Maps to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of the OpenStreetMap Foundation.

You have the option of deactivating the Open Street Maps service and thus preventing the transfer of data to the OpenStreetMap Foundation by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use the map display on our website.
