On the way...
We would like to make our premises accessible to everyone.
With the means available to us so far, we will try to make your visit or stay at the HfMT as pleasant as possible. Whether as a visitor, student, member of staff or teacher, in virtual or real space: feel welcome!

The HfMT is currently in a development phase. The accessibility of our building is to be gradually improved. Until then, we want to provide as much information as possible about the current situation.

We have compiled some initial information about the accessibility of our rooms for you here. We will complete this step by step. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or feedback.

Aussenalster Campus

The Forum and the Orchestra Studio are accessible to people with disabilities. The accessible entrance is located in our “backyard,” from where you can enter the building through the stage entrance. The backyard (access via Milchstraße) is accessible through a gate. There is a disabled parking space directly in front of it.
If you plan to attend an event in a wheelchair, we recommend contacting the event office in advance so that we can make the necessary preparations and reserve a suitable seat for you in the auditorium.

Campus Barmbek

The Small Stage, the Main Stage, and the foyer at Campus Barmbek are accessible. Parking is available along the street in front of the building. The “Burmesterstraße” bus stop is located right nearby.

For events where language is the main focus, a sign language interpreter can be booked free of charge if necessary.
