- Description
The second part of the laboratory series offers students the opportunity to consciously engage in a temporary process of forming a community of practice.
Theater is a practice that takes place between people and is always an interactive work of art.
After getting to know one's own way of working, the focus is now on shared practice: how does the community define itself, what space does it create (perform) ("The production of space", Henri Lefevbre), what rules and norms does it follow, when and how do these rules take on a life of their own? In this block seminar, which ideally takes place as an excursion lasting several days, a community of practice is created by the students (and accompanying teachers) with self-managed structures. The dialogical interaction with each other is central. Acting artistically here means learning from each other, experiencing and reflecting on a co-creation process, showing and supporting each other in their artistic work, and also approaching an artistic-scientific working method in the sense of artistic research and using this to deal with social, political-aesthetic issues, for example.- Literature
