This seminar is aimed at (acoustic) composition students to provide an introduction to the fundamentals of electronic and multimedia music. The scope of the seminar covers basics of studio setups and amplification, concepts of synthesis and processing, concepts of sampling, sensor interaction and algorithmic composition. It will be complimented with texts and discussion about current topics in the world of digital music such as post-digitality, post-internet aesthetics and AI music. This course tries to provide a broad overview and introduction to possibilities in the electronic world of composed music. Discussions, questions and your worn projects are very welcome in this seminar as well.
