University Senate

The University Senate adopts the basic regulations and other statutes. Its tasks include electing the President, participating in the appointment of the University Council and confirming the Vice Presidents. It also decides on fundamental issues of teaching, research, studies and examinations and, in agreement with the University Council, on the adoption of structural and development plans. The University Senate meets monthly during lecture periods.
