World premiere
A musical theater by Chin-Hsien Chung based on Büchner's "Leonce and Lena"

Behind the world in which Leonce and Lena find themselves is "nothing but art and
mechanism".
Overwhelmed by the idea of being human, the characters wander in a time between
time.
They stumble, stumble and perhaps never get out of bed. In their search
for a way past the inevitable, the question arises:
How does a person achieve a more bearable existence? Through ideals, an occupation,
navigation or idleness?
In this new musical-theatrical adaptation of the classic comedy, Lena, Leonce and
Valerio are locked in an artificial world.
Driven by the character Navi and music that guides them through wit and despair,
L and L try to avoid social expectations.

Trigger warning:
This piece works with the use of strobe lights.

La Chute de la Maison Usher
after Claude Debussy

An almost abandoned house, the story of a family and the question of who they are when all
that is no longer.
Imagine you know nothing about the place you are about to enter. Imagine you only encounter
narratives, not people. Imagine you have to watch without being able to help
.
What begins as a normal visit for Roderick's friend soon turns into an entanglement
of stories about the people in the house that runs its unstoppable course. The
many traces that first lead to Roderick's missing sister Madeline, and then
to the madness he is said to have, disappear, change, dissolve again and again
and merge into new traces. Which one do we want to follow and which
story do we want to believe?

daphne
in the beginning was water
the body had no beginning no end

Daphne is a nymph, daughter of the river god Peneus. After the quarrel between Apollo and
the god of love Cupid, she is no longer supposed to feel any sexual desire, while Apollo falls
head over heels in love with Daphne. Apollo pursues Daphne, he does not let go of her, she flees,
until she sees no way out and allows her father to transform her into a laurel tree
...
.
the body had no beginning and no end
until it finds itself as the battlefield of patriarchal power struggles. Who owns the body?
Where do we end up? How can and do we want to talk about violence?
Desiring bodies. Rape bodies. Bodies remain silent. Bodies
have to come to terms with something.
We have worked scenically on Ovid's story of Daphne. We want to share a result with
you. We will move, flow, make music, speak and listen. Baroque
will meet electronic music. We will address sexual assault, violence and
feelings of powerlessness. We want to find out how a language can be found
from powerlessness. We want to find out what happens when we muster the courage to turn to each other
, to trust and ultimately to care for and be there for each other.

Trigger warning:
We negotiate sexual assault. People are naked on stage.
