The Young ClassX's MusikMobil has been on tour for Hamburg schoolchildren since 2010 and has now taken almost 8,000 schoolchildren from their schools to one of Hamburg's many cultural institutions. During the bus ride, the school classes are introduced to the respective topic through music education - and this is where you come in!
The MusikMobil seminar is a cooperation project between the HfMT and The Young ClassX. It offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of (music) education. You have the chance to learn pedagogical methods - from body percussion to listening games - in many exciting workshops and try them out directly with the students. As our MusikMobil educator, you will also accompany a school class on a trip to an event organized by one of our cooperation partners such as the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonic State Orchestra, the NDR Big Band, musiculum Kiel or Steinway & Sons. The aim is to get children and young people interested in culture.
After successfully completing the seminar, you can continue to work as a freelance MusikMobil educator and accompany MusikMobil trips. This work will then be remunerated by The Young ClassX.

Seminar format:
The seminar blocks take place in presence. All seminar participants are required to attend a tour at the beginning of the seminar to get to know the MusikMobil. In addition, there are individual consultation appointments to prepare and follow up on the concepts for the bus trips. These can also be carried out digitally if required.
The examination consists of the preparation and implementation of 2 MusikMobil trips.
