Description

Based on the development of the orchestra from the late works of Viennese Classicism to Impressionism and late and post-romanticism, numerous examples from different genres (symphony, symphonic poem, instrumental concerto and opera) will be examined with regard to the relationship between structure and sound. In addition, the seminar will provide insights into the works that are still part of the performance standard today and their conception of sound.
