Dear lecturers at the HfMT,

The economic consequences of the corona pandemic are hitting you - the group of lecturers at our university - particularly hard. With the support of the extended Presidential Board and the Friends of the HfMT Foundation, the Diversity Steering Group has set up a solidarity fund to make a small contribution to alleviating financial hardship.

All of the currently 220 lecturers who have no other permanent position are to receive a one-off amount of up to 300 euros upon application if they can provide proof of concert cancellations or postponements or absence from private lessons outside the university.

The amount to be paid out depends on the amount of donations received. The applications download form can be submitted digitally without notice during the current semester at praesident@hfmt-hamburg.de (subject: Application Solidarity Fund Lecturers) or sent by post to "Büro des Präsidenten, Harvestehuder Weg 12, 20148 Hamburg".

If you send the application digitally, please remember to also send the signed application to the President's Office. Applications will be processed in the order in which they are received digitally or by post.
