FLUIDITY - Symposium on Female and Non-binary People in Multimedia
Monday, 04/29/2024 09:30 - 21:00 Ligeti Zentrum, 10. OG

On April 29, the HfMT will open its doors for the "Symposium on Female and Non-binary People in Multimedia". This event, initiated by the Multimedia Department in cooperation with the ligeti center, is a satellite event of the Diversity Study Week at the HfMT Hamburg and includes a symposium, workshops and a concert.

The symposium forms the heart of this event. It focuses on intensive discussions about the influence and contribution of women and non-binary people in multimedia. Professional composers and sound artists will share their individual perspectives and experiences to raise awareness of the role of women and people who identify as non-binary, especially in this art form.

The accompanying workshops offer the opportunity for participants to work directly with renowned female composers in interactive sessions. The focus is on the creative process in multimedia. We especially encourage (female and non-binary) students to participate in these workshops to further their interest and understanding of the world of multimedia.

Personalities such as Brigitta Muntendorf, Esmeralda Conde Ruiz, Birgit Ulher, Joana Welteke, Shimo Zhou etc. will enrich this day with their experiences and insights as speakers. Be part of this event and be inspired by diversity in multimedia art.
