The study program

In the Instrumental Music degree program, students acquire the ability to professionally and artistically master the repertoire of subject-specific literature in solo, chamber and orchestral music. In addition, the basics of pedagogical skills and versatile teaching skills are developed. Furthermore, the subject-specific instrumental didactics and methodology should lay the foundations for professionally qualifying instrumental teaching.

The Master's degree program aims to develop skills that can position instrumental music in musical life on the basis of a high artistic level with new conceptual ideas.

The standard period of study for the Instrumental Music course is 8 semesters; the standard period of study for the Master's in Instrumental Music is 4 semesters.
