- Description
The two-semester course is aimed at teacher training students at lower and upper secondary level in advanced semesters and offers an introduction to current and historical methods of analysis in music theory. It aims at a critical and independent approach to current music analytical discourses in order to explore transfer possibilities in the school context and to gain routine in dealing with analytical tasks. In addition to an intensive study of secondary literature (partly in English), also from the school context, "analytical etudes" are therefore regularly played through and reflected upon in order to achieve the above-mentioned goals. In this summer semester, the participants will analytically accompany a FEMINALE concert on 24.04.26. The focus in the summer semester will be on the analysis of musical form, analysis of new music of the 20th and 21st centuries and music analysis in music education contexts.
