Description

Development is learning in the broadest sense. The seminar covers key processes of human development from ages 0 to 18—taking into account the students’ prior knowledge from seminars at the University of Hamburg. A particular focus is placed on early childhood, pre-linguistic, and emotional development and their significance for musical and psychological communication processes.
Other topics include:
- Attachment development
- Verbal development
- Play development and symbolization
Musical play experiments and the students’ own observations of children complement the theoretical components of the seminar.
