Description

Twenty years ago, Fausto Romitelli died of cancer at the age of just 41. His music, which combines spectral techniques with the sensual experiences of progressive rock in a very personal way and for which the confrontation with experiences of literary and graphic works by Michaux and others created under the influence of drugs was an important source of inspiration, lives on. We want to approach Romitelli's cosmos by analyzing selected works, reading comics that he read, getting to know literature and films that captivated him, listening to music that inspired him. And we will also use computer programs with which he created and tried out his harmonies. An extensive book on Romitelli, to be published soon by Olms-Verlag, with analyses, interviews and commentaries on his works, will form the basis for presentations.
