zwoelf - the university magazine
The Theaterakademie Hamburg is 20 years young. Reason enough for the zwoelf, to dedicate its hot-off-the-press issue no. 37 entirely to "... and theater"
As the university turns 75, one of its departments, bubbling with creativity and innovative spirit, is celebrating its almost youthful 20th birthday: the Theaterakademie. Now that it has found its own very spacious location with the opening of the Barmbek Campus, the Theater Academy is currently undergoing fundamental further development in terms of content and personnel. Newly appointed professorships and the new degree course in theater teaching are setting the course for the future. These internal processes of further development complement each other ideally with the integration of the Theaterakademie into the current, highly dynamic Hamburg (music) theater scene. All these internal and external potentials make the Theaterakademie Hamburg one of the most interesting places to study in the German-speaking world.
This issue of the Hochschulzeitung zwoelf reports on all this potential in its thematic section focusing on "... and theater". We hope you enjoy reading zwoelf No. 37, which is available to take away free of charge.
