Colloquium with Julia Riedler
The colloquium will take place in public together with students of the 1st year Directing, Drama & Dramaturgy.
The Hamburg Poetics Lecture is changing - after seven years of important lectures by the most important voices in contemporary drama, we are now letting the "kings of the theater", the actors, have their say. Actors shape a significant part of a performance, provide the impetus, inspire the imagination, are creators in the rehearsal period and long before. Far too much is written ABOUT them, far too little FROM them. Starting this year, remarkable actors and actresses will let their thoughts play and formulate a poetics of the play.
Julia Riedler is an alumna of the HfMT, teaches at this location and is above all a very versatile actress who has worked and continues to work both on major stages and in film. We are looking forward to a lecture and colloquium with this special artist.
The Hamburg Poetry Lecture is part of the DRAMA! festival at the HfMT:
Over the past three years, the DRAMA! festival has developed from a kick-off experiment into a highly successful talent platform through continuous profiling. DRAMA! is a teaching and learning format that brings together students of scenic writing at the UdK Berlin as well as dramaturgy and directing students at the HfMT and acting students at the HfMT Hamburg and the HMTM Hannover in concentrated research work.
The colloquium is curated by Eva-Maria Voigtländer and takes place
