STUDIO for ALTE MUSIK & friends
with teachers and students of the HfMT

At the end of each semester, the STUDIO für ALTE MUSIK presents a festive concert at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe.
This time, music from the Renaissance, Baroque and early Classical periods will be performed by many students and teachers, including Menno van Delft, Isolde Kittel-Zerer, Carsten Lohff, Tanja Becker-Bender, Domen Marincic, Moritz Görg and Peter Holtslag.
Many "modern" musical styles have something in common with early music: improvisation. Not only was basso continuo playing a single improvisation; from the Middle Ages to classical music, there were many bass templates on which the upper voices improvised off the cuff: what is nowadays called a jam session in jazz.
What is old; what is new? All music that is created live is new.
The STUDIO for OLD MUSIC invites you...

Participants
with teachers and students of the HfMT on harpsichord, natural trumpet, baroque violin, viola da gamba, baroque cello, recorder, transverse flute (incl. a jam session)
