New music for flute, bassoon, violin and percussion
Tuesday, 07/15/2025 19:00 HfMT, Mendelssohn-Saal

Join us for the debut performance of a new quartet featuring flute, bassoon, violin and percussion, presenting new music by HfMT composers. Founded by a group of students with a passion for contemporary music, this concert is themed "Funny Weather" - a program of new, boundary-pushing compositions created in response to our Open Call for new works.
These new works are all by HfMT composition students, each bringing their own compositional voices and characters to this unique combination of instruments. The theme of 'Funny Weather' invites a variety of interpretations - from the literal to the emotional, from social to surreal perspectives - and offers an insight into how today's composers are responding to an ever-changing world.
