What happens when artistic, scientific, technological, and health-related perspectives are considered together? The ligeti zentrum will demonstrate this on December 5, 2026, during its second open house. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the doors to the labs on two floors will be open. There will be prototypes and demos to try out, musical performances to enjoy, and many interactive activities where you can join the conversation and get involved. A highlight: a large exhibition floor featuring the interactive exhibitions “The Ear Wants to Hear” and “Moving Sound Pictures” .

We’ll wrap up the day with a special event. At the “strg+alt+ligeti” Science Slam, four members of the ligeti center will present their research. The goal: to captivate, inspire, and enthrall the audience—all in just ten minutes and with a touch of humor. Who will do it best? The applause and the audience jury will decide!

An event for the whole family!
