Dong Zhou, Komponist*in und Performer*in. Zhou erwarb Ihren B.A. (Musik Design) am Shanghai Conservatory of Music und ihren M.A. (Multimediale Komposition) an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, bei Professor Dr. Georg Hajdu und Professor Elmar Lampson. Zurzeit promoviert Zhou an der Leuphana Universität bei Professor Dr. Rolf Großmann.

Zhou erhielt u. a. Aufträge vom Shanghai International Art Festival, ZKM Karlsruhe, usw. Zhou gewann Preise bei dem ICMC Hacker-N-Makerthon, Nota-n-Ear Awards und Emily Dickinson in Music Kompositionswettbewerb von Sheva Collection. 2019 erreichte Zhou das Finale des Deutschen Musikwettbewerbs.
