Themis - external trust center

As an external place of trust, Themis offers support both in specific incidents and in the prevention of abuse of power and sexual harassment.

Counselling is free of charge, strictly confidential and can be anonymous if desired. The team consists of qualified counsellors with a legal or psychological background who receive regular training and reflect on their work through supervision.
The focus of counselling is on cases of abuse of power, sexualized harassment and violence. In the case of intersectional issues in connection with other forms of discrimination, support is also provided or referrals are made to specialized agencies.

For whom?
Themis' counselling services are aimed at affected members and relatives of the HfMT. Affected employees, lecturers and students as well as witnesses can explicitly turn to Themis. By becoming a member of Themis, the university provides its members and relatives with low-threshold access to an external, independent advice center.

Availability
Those seeking advice can use the telephone hotline at fixed times five days a week. In addition, individual counseling appointments can be arranged by telephone (Monday to Thursday, 10:00-14:30) or by e-mail.
