Description

"JeKI" is now an integral part of general music education. The JeKI concept developed by the HfMT provides for cooperation between instrumental pedagogy and school music (tandem teaching) and thus offers instrumental pedagogues the opportunity to teach within the school morning. This 2-semester course teaches how a wide range of string, brass and woodwind instruments can be used in elementary school music lessons and which teaching materials can be used to introduce children to the choice of an instrument. This is followed in the summer semester by teaching projects that are planned in the seminar together with school music students, carried out in schools and evaluated.
