This workshop offers you the opportunity to develop your artistic ideas, spark new ways of thinking, and engage in dialogue with exciting venues in Hamburg. Following two very successful projects in the exhibition spaces of the Deichtorhallen (www.deichtorhallen.de), we’re returning to this inspiring venue to work on a musical concept for an exhibition on the theme of “dance.”
The Deichtorhallen is a renowned exhibition venue for the visual arts and photography and offers a creative setting for reimagining the relationship between music and the visual arts. Composers and musicians are invited to develop musical ideas based on the exhibited artwork. The goal is to implement the musical concept at the Deichtorhallen starting in May 2027.
The first two projects by students from the HfMT were implemented in 2025 and 2026.The concept will be implemented starting in May 2027, and additional CPs can be earned.
