Description

We can prevent tension and pain in a musician’s daily life. Here, we learn the principles of the F. M. Alexander Technique: recognizing habits of posture, movement, and thought. Using homologous, homolateral, and contralateral movement patterns, we move the body mindfully so that we can feel and renew the relationship between the head, spine, and knees. This opens the door to a more refined balance. Working with an instrument is possible.
“People do not decide their futures; they decide their habitus, and their habits decide their futures.” F. M. Alexander
