This seminar examines specific harmonic phenomena characteristic of the Classical and Romantic periods. These phenomena and their development are systematically presented through the analysis of selected works from the 18th and 19th centuries. The aim is to trace the development of harmony, extending to the limits of the major-minor tonal system. Furthermore, the analysis of the presented works aims to decipher their inherent compositional logic with regard to both microstructure and macrostructure.
