Content: The Improvisation Workshop demonstrates a way to formulate your own musical ideas—regardless of predetermined styles—using the full range of your instrumental skills—whether solo or in an ensemble, on stage, in the classroom, during effective practice, or simply for yourself.
Starting with a creative approach to the building blocks of music and what inspires us to make music, the workshop offers an introduction to “spontaneous composition.” It provides practical guidance, various methods of improvisation, and theoretical background knowledge. Being able to not only interpret music but also invent it in the moment completes the artistic personality of every musician.- Credits
