Technology is changing our lives, our environment and our understanding of our bodies. Even though most of us certainly don't identify as cyborgs, we must realize that our connection to technology is stronger than we would like to admit. Will existing in the in-between state of the machine and the biological become the new norm? chaos|cadence, consisting of Ariadne Dalatsi (voice), Sophie Kockler (clarinet), Jorma Marggraf (piano) and Adrian Thieß (electronics) presents a performance about the in-between and blending of technology and the body.

The ensemble came together during their studies at the Lübeck University of Music and focuses on the development of interdisciplinary concert formats in which classical and contemporary music meet text, image, performance and new media. With their projects, they won the Possehl Music Prize for New Musical Performance Concepts in January 2023 and the prize for originality at the D-bü competition in Nuremberg in May 2024.

The concert takes place as part of the music education symposium in between
