Samulnori is a form of percussion that originated in South Korea and is very popular there. Literally translated, it means “game of the four things” (sa = four; mul = object; nori = game) and evolved from the traditional music of the rural population. The focus is on the janggu (장구) drum. In this seminar, Korean musician KIM Bo-Sung will teach this instrument.
