The application period for the 2027 summer semester begins on December 1, 2026, and ends on January 10, 2027 (applies only to the concert exam). For the 2027–28 winter semester, the application period begins on February 15, 27, and ends on April 1, 27.
To successfully apply for the Instrumental Music (Harpsichord) program, the following steps must be completed within the application period:
- Submission of the online application, including upload of supporting documents
- Receipt of the application fee (payment information is provided at the end of the completed online application)
Your application will only be considered if all the steps described above are completed in full within the application period and both the online application and the application fee have been received.

Entrance examination requirements
The following works must be prepared as repertoire for the entrance examination:
Repertoire:
- Pavan & Galliard
- Toccata
- Suite (min. 3 movements)
- Prelude & Fugue from "Wohltemperirte Clavier"
- fast sonata by D. Scarlatti
- sight-reading of a simple piece
- further pieces of own choice, at will
basso continuo:
- Basso continuo of a simple piece, prepared without soloist
- sight-reading of a very simple figured bass
The pieces do not have to be performed from memory.

Entrance examination requirements
The following works must be prepared as repertoire for the entrance examination:
- Repertoire of a higher level of difficulty
(possibly also on clavichord or pianoforte) - basso continuo
The works do not have to be performed from memory.
