The application period for the 2027 summer semester begins on December 1, 2026, and ends on January 10, 2027 (concert exam only). For the 2027–28 winter semester, the application period begins on February 15, 27, and ends on April 1, 27.
To successfully apply for the Tuba Instrumental Music program, the following steps must be completed within the application period:
- Submission of the online application, including upload of supporting documents
- Receipt of the application fee (payment information is provided at the end of the completed online application)
- Submission of a video link ( to be submitted as an unlisted YouTube video)
Your application will only be considered if all the steps described above are fully completed within the application period and both the online application and the application fee have been received.

Bachelor's degree
After the application deadline, a pre-selection will be made from the applications received on the basis of the videos and this selection will be invited to a 2nd selection round on site.

Entrance examination requirements
The following works must be prepared as repertoire for the entrance examination:
- one work from the Baroque period
- one original work for tuba
- one work from sheet music will be presented (prima vista)
The total length should be approx. 15 minutes and one of the two works must be performed with piano accompaniment.

- at least two different epochs
- individual movements of different works may be played
- it is allowed to cut between the movements
The program can be chosen independently and does not have to correspond to the program for the presence round.
