Acting directing entrance exam

The application period for the new Master's degree course starts in the summer semester 2026, it begins on 01.12.2025 and ends on 10.01.2026. For the coming summer semester extended until 31.01.2026.

For the winter semester 2026/27, the application period for the Bachelor's degree course begins on 15.02.2026 and ends on 01.04.2026.

The following steps are required for a successful application to the Acting/BA and Acting/MA degree programs within the application deadline:

• Receipt of online application incl. upload of supporting documents
• Receipt of application fee

Your application will only be considered if all the steps described have been completed within the application deadline and the online application and application fee have been received.

The entrance examination takes place in two stages. In the first stage, pre-selection is made on the basis of the director's concept submitted. Those who pass the first stage are admitted to the second part of the entrance examination.

Directing/MA:

The 2nd round of entrance examinations for the summer semester 2026 for Directing/MA 2026 is expected to take place on 22/23.02.2026.

Directing Drama/BA:

The 2nd round of entrance examinations for the winter semester 2026/26 for Directing Acting/BA is expected to take place 07-10.05.2026.
