Acting directing entrance exam

The application period for the new Master's degree course starts in the summer semester 2026, it begins on 01.12.25 and ends on 10.01.26. The online application starts on 08.12.26.

For the winter semester 2026/27, the application period for the Bachelor's degree course begins on 15.02.26 and ends on 01.04.26.

The following steps are required for a successful application to the Directing Acting/BA and Directing Acting/MA degree programs within the application deadline:

• Receipt of online application incl. upload of supporting documents
• Receipt of application fee

Your application will only be considered if all the steps described have been completed within the application deadline and the online application and application fee have been received.

The entrance examination takes place in two stages. In the first stage, pre-selection is made on the basis of the director's concept submitted. Those who pass the first stage are admitted to the second part of the entrance examination.
