The application period for the 2027 summer semester begins on December 1, 2026, and ends on January 10, 2027 (applies only to the postgraduate concert exam program). For the 2027–28 winter semester, the application period begins on February 15, 27, and ends on April 1, 27.
To successfully apply for the Instrumental Music (Percussion) program, the following steps must be completed within the application period:
- Submission of the online application, including the upload of supporting documents
- Receipt of the application fee (payment information is provided at the end of the completed online application)
Your application will only be considered if all the steps described above are fully completed within the application period and both the online application and the application fee have been received.

Bachelor's degree
Entrance examination requirements
The following works must be prepared as repertoire for the entrance examination:
snare drum:
- short piece for rudiment
- short etude of your choice
Marimaphone/vibraphone:
- work of own choice (4-mallet technique)
Timpani:
- Etude/solo piece of own choice (2-4 timpani)
Setup (alternative to timpani):
- Piece of medium difficulty of own choice
For higher semesters, more difficult works
(also setup pieces: e.g. Xenakis, Volans, Globokar, etc.) depending on the duration of study
The works do not have to be performed by heart.

Entrance examination requirements
The following works must be prepared as repertoire for the entrance examination:
- Solo program: duration approx. 45 minutes
(chamber music portion no more than one third - corresponding to the Bachelor's degree) - Solo concerto with orchestra
The works do not have to be performed from memory.
