About the degree program

You apply to one of the four partner universities. If your application is successful, the university to which you applied and were admitted remains your home university.

During the course of your studies, you will always be enrolled at the university where you spend your semester. You will be enrolled at your home university for the Master's project.

After successfully completing your studies, you will receive your degree certificate from your home university as well as a certificate of completion from all partner universities.

Application procedure and supporting documents

To apply, please submit the following documents in English by uploading them by the application deadline (January 31, 2025).

1st Application form and supporting documents:

Please complete the application form and attach the following documents (upload link in the application form) by January 31, 2025:

- Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS) and Diploma Supplement or equivalent

- Confirmation of enrollment and expected graduation date*

- Transcripts & completed examination requirements - insofar as they relate to your chosen degree program

- Proof of English language proficiency (B1): IELTS, TOEFL or equivalent

2) Proposal for the Master's project

(Independent Project): The MDP (IP) proposal is the most important element of your application and should relate to at least some of the main features of the CoPeCo program: collaborative work, interdisciplinary interaction, new technologies, improvisation and arts management.

3) Portfolio

For composers: Please submit a portfolio with your scores and/or recordings (if no scores are available) containing at least three contrasting original compositions with a total duration of at least 15 minutes. If you submit additional texts to the scores (e.g. an introduction or performance notes), please include an English translation.

For performers: Please submit a folder with your recordings containing at least two contrasting performance excerpts with a total duration of at least 15 minutes.

For composers/performers: Please submit a portfolio containing at least one original composition, a recording of at least one performance excerpt and another work of your choice with a total duration of at least 15 minutes. If you submit additional texts to the scores (e.g. an introduction or performance notes), please include an English translation.
